In the past, I’ve done some fundraising for Shelterbox when disaster has struck. Shelterbox is going to Oklahoma to aid the people who lost their homes, so I am fundraising again, and asking for your help. 

What Shelterbox does is make up these LARGE GREEN BOXES that contain high-quality tents that can house up to ten people. The boxes also contain things that help you live, like a stove, tools, water purifiers, blankets, and something for children. The boxes cost about $1000. Together, we can totally raise enough for a shelter or two? I’ve set up a donation page, and it’s really easy to give. 

If you could share this, it is appreciated. We can literally put a roof over someone’s head. No amount is too small. Nothing is insignificant. 

Here’s a little bit more about what they do.

Try to donate if you can, guys. People in Oklahoma lost EVERYTHING and this could mean a lot to someone.

We’re tracking news on Glee Season 5 as it filters in from Fox’s annual Upfronts. Check back throughout the day!

I’m going to be gathering everything news-ish into one masterpost over on LeakyNews today. 

On Thursdays, Glee’s fifth season will take a break come midseason when Fox slots Kinnear’s House-like drama Rake, with the Ryan Murphy musical returning in the spring and stretching into the summer as Fox’s schedule transitions to feature more year-round original scripted fare.

Glee will still be in its Thursday 9pm slot, but basically at the winter hiatus, it will stay off the air until March-ish and then air further into the summer.

This actually isn’t a terrible thing; yes, the hiatus will suck, but it means we don’t have five different month-long hiatuses, and I’m assuming that graduation will be the last episode in the fall, with the long break making the transition to post-graduation a little more organic.
